Try Hockey For Free
Welcome to Hockey USA, also known as Minnesota. In a land where it seems like everyone is born holding a puck, it’s never too early or late for your child to give hockey a try. Osseo Maple Grove Hockey Association (OMGHA), is providing the opportunity over several days in July and August to do just that…try hockey with the guidance of experienced OMGHA coaches.
All Dates at the Maple Grove Community Center:
Thursday, July 28th, 6-7 – West Rink
Monday, August 8th 6-7 – East Rink
Sunday, August 21 5:30-6:30 – West Rink
Tuesday, August 30th 5:30-6:30 – East Rink
These sessions do require registration on OMGHA’s website.
Come to the Maple Grove Community Center Ice Arena dressed to skate (pull out that winter gear): sweatpants, snow pants, gloves or hockey equipment if you have it. Helmets (bike or hockey) are required for all skaters. If you have a hockey stick please bring it, as there are only a limited number of sticks available for use. Free skate rental is available if you do not have your own skates.
If you’ve got the hockey bug, mark your calendars and be sure to attend the USA Hockey Tier II U18 Nationals, March 29 – April 3, 2023 at the Maple Grove Community Center and Brooklyn Park Ice Arena. With thousands of players and visitors in attendance, it will be a tournament to remember!
