Step inside and explore the historic Pierre Bottineau House. Built in 1854, four years before Minnesota became a state, it is one of only a handful of homes remaining from Minnesota’s Territorial era and is believed to be the first frame house built in Maple Grove Township. Exhibits highlight the life and adventures of legendary guide, Pierre Bottineau. For a more immersive experience, register for the “Pierre Bottineau’s Wild World Guided Hike” program, which meets at the Bottineau House at 1 p.m.
