The Polar Plunges are annual events organized by Special Olympics Minnesota; an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities. Plunge participation helps make a significant difference in supporting these athletes.
The Polar Plunge involves fundraising for SOMN and jumping into cold waters at Fish Lake. If you fundraise and do not want to jump, you are still welcome to come and support the plungers. The Polar Plunge is an experience that’s not only exhilarating but it also is an opportunity to bond with your team all the while supporting a fantastic cause!
The Plunge starts at 12:00pm (subject to change with the weather – keep an eye on the website). Registration/check-in for the plunge begins at 10:30am at the plunge site. Pre-registration/check-in is on February 6th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Fish Lake Regional Park Pavillion. Check the website for more details.
