YOUR THANKSGIVING DAY FIRST COURSE!

The Inaugural Experience Maple Grove Turkey Trot is SOLD OUT. We appreciate the overwhelming response and are excited to host runners & walkers from 8 states & more than 40 communities! Plans are already in motion for a larger event in 2025 to accomodate more runners & walkers!

The run / walk starts at the Central Park Phenow Pavilion and winds around the north pond before turning south through the park, wrapping around Arbor Lake and ending back at the Pavilion.

Participants will receive a first-ever Turkey Trot tee-shirt as well as a FREE beverage coupon at partner restaurants including The Lookout, Omni Brewing, Malone’s and Kingdom Coffee.

Dress up in your favorite Thanksgiving themed clothes for a chance to win a best dressed prize!

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28
8:00 am: Registration & bib pick up
8:45 am: Pre-race stretch led by Crunch Fitness
9:00 am: Turkey Trot begins

Early Bib & Shirt pick-up:  
Tuesday, Nov. 26, 3-6 pm in the Crimson Room at Malone’s Bar & Grill (12635 Elm Creek Blvd N, Maple Grove, MN 55369).

Please try to pick up your gear at Malone’s to help alleviate long lines Turkey Trot morning. Please note your bib includes a coupon for a $5 beverage at Malone’s, The Lookout, OMNI and Kingdom Coffee!  

Turkey Trot Day; Thurs., Nov. 28:

8:00 AM – Bib/Shirt pick-up at Central Park Phenow Pavilion. We have limited inside space for bib pick-up and access to restrooms. There are NO additional race day registrations. 

8:00 – 8:45 AM – Music, accouncements and pictures with our Turkey mascots.

8:45 AM – Pre-Trot stretch led by Crunch Fitness. 

8:55 AM– National Anthem 

9:00 AM – 5K run/walk begins. This is not a chipped/timed race, please be extra courteous to other runners/walkers. An EMT will be onsite.

Best Dressed!
Dress in the Thanksgiving spirit as Spavia Day Spa will award a PRIZE for best dressed! 

Following the race:

Please stop back inside Phenow Pavilion for a water from Steve’s Auto World and a Nothing Bundt Cake! 
Note: Water and Nothing Bundt Cakes are ONLY for participants and you must present your bib to redeem.  

Onsite Food/Beverage
The Lookout Bar & Grill will have a food truck on-site for purchase of food, coffee and hot chocolate! 

Parking

There are lots on both the east and west side of Central Park as well as on street parking along Central Park Way on the east side of the park and Kirkwood Lane N on the west side of Central Park.
