Colorful Fun for Everyone
Each June, a stretch of Main Street is closed to traffic and instead welcomes artists, visitors and locals who flock to the area to take part in a unique summer tradition: Chalkfest at Arbor Lakes.
The event is a free, 2-day street art festival featuring artists from all over the world. The art is the main attraction, but you’ll also find live entertainment, food, and family fun.
Chalkfest at Arbor Lakes is one of the largest sidewalk chalk art events in the Midwest.
Watch as professional and amateur artists create astonishing sidewalk chalk art all along Main Street. Each colorful work of art is different, and many of the pieces are startlingly realistic 3D renderings that are like nothing you have ever seen. It’s an Instagram wonderland with photo ops at every turn.
Be sure to check the website for upcoming event dates and mark your calendars because the chalk art gets washed away at the end of the festival, so your only chance to see these spectacular murals is to be there during Chalkfest at Arbor Lakes.
