Historic Pierre Botineau House Visit & Snowshoe Hike

Strap into some snowshoes at the Historic Pierre Bottineau House in Elm Creek Park Reserve. Snowshoe with a historical interpreter as your guide and hear the epic tale of Bottineau’s 1837 snowshoe journey when he led a 750-mile winter expedition on foot across the Minnesota wilderness. Before or after the hike, explore the museum exhibits inside the historic 1854 Bottineau House. Snowshoes provided. If there is no snow, we will hike instead. Reservations required by 24 hours prior.
